Customer Service // Sales - Overview

Our Customer Service // Sales Team is broken into two main roles - Junior and Senior.
We are currently hiring for both positions.

Jr. staff focus primarily on in-store solutions for customers and work alongside Sr. staff to fulfill a variety of types of customer inquiries.
Jr. Positions start at $17.50/hour and go up to $19.50/hour and require a minimum 3 day/week scheduling commitment.

Sr. staff zoom out from in-store solutions and take a variety of higher level tasks including consulting on complex customer inquiries, implementing sales/merchandizing/overstock strategy, managing special orders, opening and closing the shop, and coaching Jr staff. - Sr. staff may also have major projects they manage in tandem with their daily roles in the CS/S department.
Sr. Positions start at $23/hour and go up to $28/hour and require a minimum 4 day/week scheduling commitment.

 Our Customer Service // Sales team handles all of our sales and general inquiries both in person and online (email communication, web store fulfillment,) as well as curates the look and feel of the store through merchandizing, display, and inventory work. As CS/Sales people we interact with our community as experts and need to have the knowledge and context to help fulfil a wide variety of customer needs. This means that on top of knowing and selling our in-stock product, we also need to understand the broader market as well as how to execute on the solutions and recommendations a customer may need. A good Customer Service team is diverse in skillset and expertise and handles many different situations with confidence. Our main goal is to have customers walking away from the shop feeling heard, like they’ve found solutions, and feeling empowered by their experience at Kissing Crows Cyclery. We are looking for dedicated applicants who want to contribute to a healthy and vibrant cycling culture in Vancouver, who have strong social stamina, can act with grace under pressure, and understand the language of social justice. Experience in bicycle/outdoor sport retail is not strictly necessary but is a keen asset.
