Chris’ S&S Coupled Rivendell Atlantis

Chris always brings us the most amazing builds to work on! This is a classic, first gen Atlantis that’s been modified aftermarket with S&S couplers and custom paint. Chris Dekerf did both the coupler installation and the paint and it looks AMAZING. The S&S couplers are designed to break the bike down into smaller luggage that doesn’t incur oversize baggage fees when you travel on airplanes. At the time of writing this Chris is actually in Colombia, riding with this bike! The Atlantis is Rivendell’s flagship model, a bike of simple elegance and stunning beauty. The Atlantis is designed as a versatile daily rider from waaaay before when ‘Bikepacking’ and ‘Gravel bikes',’ were a part of the common cycling lexicon. This is the original do everything bike and we’re happy to have been the ones to build it up and prepare it for it’s next adventures with Chris.
